Owner: Joel Hakken is a local kid who has always had a bike along for the ride throughout his studies at Huron High and the School of Art at the University of Michigan. His wife Wendy and his children Dillon and Darby enjoy riding bikes, tandems, and even quads with him. The bicycle has become a gathering point for his family, and hopes that he can share this family experience with the community as the owner of Midwest Bike & Tandem.
